Kundasang Mount Garden

Really liked the room, it was clean and comfortable. I'd definitely come back.

The view gets an 8/10 from me, but the room was a 1/10. We booked two rooms with friends, one upstairs and one downstairs. The lower room had a strange layout and felt like extra storage; the bed was very hard and it smelled musty. Upstairs was a little more spacious, but still not great. There was no bathroom door, the bathroom was tiny, and it had the same musty smell and hard bed. The road there is bumpy, so be careful with your car and make sure it has enough power to climb up. We felt misled by the exterior in the Agoda reviews, and we won't be coming back.

The room is spacious, the temperature is lovely, and there's a small river coming down from the mountain. The view is pretty, and there's plenty of parking outside the hotel. The hill up to the rooms is steep, though, so it may not work for wheelchair users or very elderly people.

The place was clean and pleasant, with a nice view and plenty of parking, though take care on the steep slope. I edited this after checkout because of a late checkout charge: I understood it was RM60 until 2 p.m. and paid a lady, but at 2 p.m. another lady insisted it was RM60 per hour, even though the posted rates clearly showed otherwise.
