AeCOTEL Mingle Hostel

Everything we needed was an easy walk away, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms were spacious and the beds really comfortable. Laundry, wash and dry, was only $2, and they offered free water refills and morning coffee. Checking in late was simple, and when I missed checkout they were kind and flexible.

The location is very central, close to everything, and the facilities were great for the price. There was a kitchen, a washing machine and free water. I booked a bed in the female dorm, but nobody else stayed there that night. The hotel was very quiet, with only a few rooms booked.

Really good hostel. It had everything I needed, including a towel, hair dryer, bunk curtains and a small locker, and the facilities were clean. The staff were very helpful. Early check-in and late checkout are available for a reasonable price. I paid 10MYR to check in early, and they kindly gave me an extra hour at checkout. That was in the off season, when the hostel wasn't quite full.

The owners seem to have followed up on earlier review comments. Getting into the hostel was clearly explained, and the information about facilities was easy to find throughout. It's good value, in a handy spot with shops nearby and public transport not far away. The bed was comfortable, and the clean shower facilities worked really well. I'd stay here again.
