The staff were excellent, from reception to the cleaning crew. Everyone was polite and ready to help. There's also a small shop in the hotel for snacks and drinks. I stayed in double room 205. The bed was big and comfortable, the shower had good pressure and hot water, and the AC kept the room cool enough most of the time. The TV had seen better days and could have been bigger, but I connected my laptop with an HDMI cable and watched what I wanted. The hotel is in Bandar Indah, in Sandakan. I first thought it was far from the city centre and harbour, but after visiting the centre, I was glad I wasn't staying there.

For budget accommodation, this place is good value. My single room had a queen bed, an attached bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a wooden cupboard for storage. There was fixed TV cable and free WiFi, with restaurants, banks, and a convenience store only a few metres away. The name makes it sound grander than it is. In my opinion, it doesn't really qualify as a hotel and feels more like an inn, but it's a decent place to stay.
