I came for a work course at Hospital Seberang Jaya, and the hotel's very close by. I barely had to deal with Penang rush-hour traffic, which was convenient. The room was clean and adequate for traveling alone, though it would feel tight for a couple or family. There was a damp smell, perhaps from the lack of ventilation, and the rooms without windows felt small and could be claustrophobic for some. The air conditioning had no dusty or bad smell, and the surfaces were clean. There was a TV, but none of the channels worked. Filtered and hot water machines were on every floor, and tea bags and cups were in the room. Soap and towels were provided, though the towels were missing at first and I had to ask reception. A practical choice if you need to be close to the hospital and aren't fussy about comfort.

There isn't a lift, so getting luggage up to a higher floor means taking the stairs. That may be hard for older guests, anyone with mobility problems, or people carrying heavy bags.

The room smelled awful as soon as I walked in. The curtains were worn out, the air conditioner was very old, and the pillows were in such bad, stained condition that they should be replaced. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, barely a level above 'Reban Ayam'. It doesn't deserve even one star.

Sunway Carnival Mall is nearby, and there's also a convenience store close by. The room was clean and the stay was quite good. The AC had no remote, but it worked okay.

Parking was plentiful, and the hotel covered the daily parking fee. It's near Hospital Seberang Jaya and the main expressways, with everywhere about a five-minute drive away. I booked a king bed, though I can't remember the room type. The room was a bit tight but had enough space for one person or a couple. The bedding and comforter were clean and soft, and the bathroom was very clean with a water heater. There was no hair dryer in the room. You have to ask at the counter, where they're limited, so bringing your own is a better idea. Housekeeping is available, but you need to tell the counter the next morning if you want your room cleaned.
