Segamat Orange Hotel

The air conditioner and bathroom were okay, but the room smelled bad. The blanket had spills on it, and neither the pillow nor bedsheet seemed clean. There were holes or cracked paint on the walls, and the ceiling was dirty and had holes too. I understand the price of this 3 star hotel, but the stay was uncomfortable and bad. I wouldn’t recommend staying here for the night.

The toilet bowl was very stained, and the toilet curtains had stains from a previous customer. If you’re hygienic, you might want to take that into account. The aircon water dripped when the temperature was set too low, and the drops echoed through the room. I booked a deluxe queen room with the window option, but the only window was in the toilet 😅. The room was on the 3rd floor, with no lift, so stairs are the only way up. There was no wardrobe, no mirror except in the toilet, and no mini fridge.

We paid about 98 for one night for a big bed and a single bed. The room was fine, nothing wrong with it, but nothing special either. The toilet could be improved, as its curtains looked a bit dirty to me. Service was good and the price budget friendly. It’s close to One Segamat and the bus station.

There’s no little kettle or fridge in the room, though there is a water dispenser outside. For what we paid, it was worth it, and the price was the lowest in town. Restaurants and banks are easy to reach, with a few petrol stations nearby and shopping areas not far away. The cozy room had enough space for 7 people on 2 king size beds. I was satisfied.
