The rooms are spacious, but the layout makes them hard to use well. The recent renovation still left the design and functions inconvenient. Staff were nice, though they seemed to lack hospitality training. The price felt high compared with competitors, and there was no Wi-Fi. I can share more, but wondered why I should. 😂 The balcony with a sea view is shared, so people can walk past and see into the room. Don't expect to enjoy the view from the bathtub with the balcony door or curtain open. The tub felt unstable, and the pipe knob could still move, though the room was clean. The hotel is next to a large slum. Kids yelled at night, played ball outside, and were often naked. I learned that some people born in Borneo have no identity granted by the government, leaving them in the slum without education, jobs, or health care. People pee and poop outside the hotel, and the area smells of urine and feces, with lots of rubbish by the door. It's an interesting cultural study, but not an ideal hotel setting. If the hotel wants this review updated, it should improve its hospitality or charge at its level. I'm only writing about what I actually experienced.

The hotel and rooms were clean, though the area outside was in pretty bad shape. Urine and feces smells filled the entrance. The hotel's service also needs work.

Guests and guides get confused because the accommodation seems to have two names, and the spelling is wrong. The relevant party should correct the name and location so people aren't misled. That's all.
