Dezara Village

Dai was kind enough to take us into town for dinner and bring us back twice. The staff are kind, and they also did our laundry for us, which was really nice. The beds are quite hard, so it’s good to know that ahead of time. They’re open to feedback, though, as the place only opened less than a year ago. If you’re staying somewhere in Semporna, I’d recommend this place.

Thanks Shan for everything! The hosts were so hospitable and went out of their way to help, including offering rides into town and helping with anything we needed. It’s a relaxed, welcoming place with very comfortable beds, and a great affordable option just outside of town.

The only small drawback is that the homestay is hard to spot from the main road if you don’t know the area. Inside, our room was spacious and very comfortable, and we were even offered complimentary karaoke. Every staff member we met was warm and welcoming. Iskandar gave especially superb service and went above and beyond. I’ve never had such royal treatment elsewhere, it really felt like we were being treated like kings. Our stay was unforgettable, and I highly recommend this place for a pleasant stay.

It’s good, and not far from Semporna town. A handy way to avoid traffic jams.
