There’s plenty of room to dry clothes in the sun, which is a plus. The capsule was spacious with a queen bed, and the loft room was decent. It was clean, but it's not very close to the jetties, and there were no TV channels provided.

The receptionist's service was so bad I hardly know where to start. Allyson, a middle-aged Chinese woman with glasses, was rude and often spoke as if giving orders. I initially said I didn't want to try the fun dive because I had a runny nose. She told me to work hard to “overcome” it and made me do a maneuver right there, even though it wasn't related to the runny nose, so I refused. When I later said I was willing to try the dive, she acted shocked and said she thought I'd just said I didn't want to. It left me speechless. The capsule itself was clean, spacious, and fine for our two nights, though the toilet was a bit of a walk away, inconvenient if you need it often. The location was okay, with some shops nearby, but it's not especially convenient, about a 10-minute drive from the jetty. The transport times kept changing from what we'd agreed at first, and she blamed us for not reading what she'd written in the conversation. She also wouldn't let us eat somewhere else when the restaurant she took us to was full. Maybe she was getting a commission, but I can't be sure. There were so many issues that I don't know how much more to include.

The manager was amazing and took care of everything after we gave her only a day's notice. We booked two island tours and a bus transfer through her. Our stay was lovely, and the room was a great experience. The island's electricity went out, so it got quite warm, but they lit candles in the bathroom so we could see and still use the showers. I was charged 50 ringit for a light mark on a towel that could easily have come out in the washing machine. They charged 50 ringit for a little laundry powder. Scammers.
