Ocean House

My room for four had its own bathroom, and there’s also a shared toilet in the common area if you need to use one at the same time. The room was clean and nice. You’ll find an iron and ironing board downstairs, plus a kettle and water dispenser in the shared space. The receptionist was helpful, and the hotel is not far from Jeti Pelancong.

The staff were helpful, but they spent most of their time playing games on their phones, and the rooms weren’t cleaned properly. They were dirty and dusty, especially under the bed. At night there was a lot of noise, with people rolling or moving gas tanks until 2am.

The fast internet made it easy for me to check my email, and the bed was comfortable with the room facilities complete. I loved the design, and it’s a good spot for photos. Cleanliness stood out most to me. The hotel was very clean, and I felt I got what I paid for. Staying there felt like being at home. I’d definitely recommend this lovely place to a friend, and I’ll be back.

A clean, cozy hostel in Semporna, with a friendly owner who’s happy to help. The rooms were very clean too. They have a water dispenser with both hot and cold water, which was handy for us as parents with a toddler. I’d recommend it.
