My parents booked a family room while my sister and I had a standard room. The family room had a king bed and a single bed, while ours had two singles. Both rooms came with a refrigerator and free snacks and drinks, which was fantastic. The family room balcony had a great view too. I really loved our stay and would book this hotel again in the future.

The location is handy, right behind the harbor. Our stay in Semporna was pleasant largely thanks to the cleaning girl, who made it great despite the difficulties in the city itself. She's the real star of the hotel.

After a good day of diving, the shower's warmth and pressure were great for unwinding. The room was clean, with a mini fridge for drinks, air conditioning, free snacks and drinks, slippers, and basic toiletries. You get a good view of the channel and all the busy boats. Staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. The building felt very secure: you need a key card to enter, or staff can let you in after you ring the doorbell. There are a couple of small things to know, though they didn't bother us. You can hear the dive shop below getting ready and moving its air tanks, which actually made us excited to dive. The power and AC only work when your key is in, so the room can't stay cool while you're out. That's pretty typical anyway. We booked one night at first and ended up extending by two more. If I come back to Semporna, I'll definitely book here again.
