Wings Hotel

I called ahead to book, but when we arrived, they said they didn't take reservations for customers. Reception asked us to wait an hour for the staff member in charge of reservations to come back. The service was really bad, and I don't recommend staying here.

Our family room was on the second floor. There was no remote for the AC, and when I asked at reception, the employee just said that if there wasn't one, there was nothing they could do. I kept asking for another way to control the AC, and he said he'd do something about it. I waited 30 minutes until midnight, but reception never got back to me. The room was hot because we couldn't adjust the AC, and it wasn't properly clean, especially the bathroom. Bad experience overall because of the service.

The smell in the toilet was overwhelming, and the room itself reeked of smoke even though it was meant to be non-smoking. The bathroom wall and floor were moldy, the toilet seat cover was busted, and the soap compartment was disgusting. The shower pipes and heads, sink tap, and other fixtures were filthy enough to make me not want to touch them. There was toothpaste from previous guests on the mirror, and hair was still on the drain cover when I checked in. We stayed two nights, and it was still there after daily room cleaning. The door was rusty, the room floor sticky, and there was no Wi-Fi at all. I saw staff cleaning the room across from us by giving the floor a very light mop instead of sweeping it properly. One staff member sat in a room that had already been cleaned and vaped there. Most of the staff were friendly, though. I wanted to post photos of how dirty the place was, but felt it would be too much to share them here. It was cheap for a big room, with a large balcony, simple breakfast, and a 24-hour mini mart. But I still don't think it was worth staying there. The dirtiness made me angry the whole time.

Hawker stalls and a supermarket are right nearby, and there's a convenience store in the lobby that's open 24 hours. The room was okay, but the bathroom had water marks everywhere and wasn't cleaned well. The halls and corridors were pretty dirty.
