Havona Hotel - Bandar Putra Kulai - Self Check-In

We had plenty of room in the Executive Family Room, which we booked for five guests for our five-day, four-night stay. There were three of us, so it felt spacious and comfortable, with space to work and perform our prayers. The cleanliness could be better. Some bedsheets had stains, and all three of us felt itchy after sleeping. I pay close attention to bathroom cleanliness, and this was only moderately satisfactory. The floor was slippery, as if it had been mopped without properly scrubbing the floor and wall tiles. The room floor seemed to have the same issue. I'd suggest using a more suitable cleaning solution. Those were my main concerns, and I hope this feedback helps them improve. Sorry I didn't take photos.

A handy option for an early flight from Senai Airport. I've booked a few times because the price is affordable and the rooms are consistently very clean. Special thanks to Fifi from customer service, who has helped me resolve my issue each time. I appreciate it and will definitely book again.

The maintenance noise started around 7AM, with loud knocking and drilling on my floor, and it disturbed my sleep. The water problem was worse. Although check-in was meant to be at 2PM, I got my room around 3PM, then found there was no water. Reception said it should be fixed in about two hours, but it didn't come back until around 7PM, nearly five hours later. I had booked two rooms, and the stay wasn't worth what I paid. The next morning I asked politely for a late check-out as some recovery for the problems. They said no because the self check-in kiosk automatically deducts the deposit for late check-outs. It was disappointing that the hotel couldn't offer any flexibility or apology when the issues were on its side. The basic facilities were poorly handled, and the maintenance timing was inconsiderate. I hope management improves its service and guest care. Thank you for responding and acknowledging the trouble. I appreciate you looking into it for future guests. I also want to clarify that I never asked to stay until 6:00 PM, as your response mentioned. As a hotelier myself, I know that would be an excessive request, especially if another guest was due to arrive. About an hour before check-out, I only asked for a late check-out to make up for what had happened. Thanks for offering a special discount on my next visit.
