I chose to stay because the hotel is only a 5-7 minute walk from the Senai airport arrival hall. Tea garden is downstairs, and McD is right beside it. Still, at RM131.22 for one night, I don't think it was worth the money. I could have had a better room and service at a nearby budget hotel. I booked a room with a window through Agoda for 5April2025. When I arrived that day, I learned the hotel had a new owner and was now called colors hotel. They put me in room no211, which looked like the booking photos, but it had no window and was missing a TV. When I complained at the counter, the receptionist said they couldn't provide the window room shown on Agoda. I told them I had paid for a room with a window and wasn't getting what I paid for. The receptionist asked me to wait two hours while they looked for one. Eventually they gave me a clean room with a window. I didn't want to escalate my complaint about the condition any further.

The room was basic and okay for sleeping one night. It had twin beds, a TV, a desk and a wardrobe, though the TV and WiFi didn't work. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, and the bedsheet and pillow had stains. The hotel is very close to the airport, with eateries nearby, so finding food is convenient. During both days we visited, there were blackouts and the lobby and first floor were pitch black. How could a blackout last that long?

The capsule itself was a mess from the start. They were fully booked when I checked in, so they put me in a capsule under maintenance. Its card didn't work, and staff just showed me how to open it manually. At the front desk, I wasn't welcomed or even smiled at. The staff member barely acknowledged me and seemed annoyed I was there. The shared toilet had weak water pressure and no electricity in any of the cubicles, so basic hygiene was impossible. The whole facility felt run down and unhygienic, as if it hadn't been maintained for a long time. There were no amenities: no towel, soap, shampoo or toilet paper. When I asked for a towel, the one I got was heavily stained. The overbooking, poor upkeep, unhygienic conditions and missing amenities made this a terrible stay. I'd tell people considering it to look elsewhere and avoid the headache.

The location is really good for food, and the airport is only a five-minute walk away. I stayed here once a few years ago, and things weren't like this then. This time, no one was at reception when I arrived. A woman with a baby asked me to wait ten minutes, and the convenience store seemed to be closed.

We booked in February, then arrived to check in on March 28th and were told the hotel was full with no rooms available. We'd called before making the trip, too. It was already 10pm, and we had nowhere to go. Their management and service were really poor and irresponsible. Even though it’s close to the airport, booking ahead still didn’t guarantee a room, which feels risky. What a ridiculous situation. I won't stay here again or recommend it.
