The snorkeling trip was a great experience, and the friendly staff and good food made this a surprisingly well-rounded budget package. I had low expectations for the meals, but they were quite good. There's also open karaoke after dinner, and the room has air conditioning. It's suitable for a trip with friends. The room had a minor defect and wasn't soundproof at all. Also, the villages aren't connected by road, so you'll need to hike or take a boat if you want to visit another one.

This was the worst dive resort I've stayed at. The rooms don't even meet basic chalet standards, with little more than the bare minimum, and the mattress wasn't decent enough for a proper night's sleep. If you want to enjoy diving, I'd skip this place.

It's cheap and less than a 10-minute walk from the jetty, though there's a small rocky slope to climb. Still, I really can't recommend it. The room was filthy, with sand, dust, hair and even cockroaches. There's no wifi, hairdryer or water dispenser, and the power plugs are awkwardly placed and hard to reach. The toilet leaks every time you flush.

The place was filthy, the beds weren't clean, and the toilet was even worse. Basic necessities were missing and there was no room service. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Worst holiday ever at damai resort.

The staff were really friendly and the service was great. It's a good fit for families on a budget, and the package I got was well beyond what I expected. The service was well done.
