The jetty is only a 5-6 minute walk away, which made the location handy. Breakfast was included and the food was good. Our room was spacious, with air conditioning and a heater.

Jip was great about handling all the things my family asked for, and we had a lovely time at Papaya. The rooms were roomy and clean, with AC and hot water in the shower. The beach is only a short walk away, though the path currently goes through some unfinished construction. We'd definitely come back if we're in Tekek again.

The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the price was great for the location. It's right behind a lovely beach restaurant and close to several dive shops. Breakfast comes as a set menu with a few choices. It was tasty, especially the roti, though you can't swap any of the items. There's no fridge in the room.

I really enjoyed my stay at Papaya Chalet during my Tioman trip. It's peaceful, clean and cozy, right by the beach, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It's also a great fit if you're diving with Born to Dive. I'd happily stay here again.

A pleasant hotel with the basics. My second-floor shower had quite weak water flow, and my room only had a bed and kettle, no TV. The food portions were just enough.
