Metro Hotel Bukit Bintang

SAM, usually around the lobby, was the best part for me. He helps with anything in and around the hotel, and his smile and positive attitude really brightened the day. Thanks to Hotel Metro for giving my family some lovely memories. We were five people, including elderly family members, and the room was a little bigger than a typical hotel room. Bukit Bintang market is about a four-minute walk away, and there’s a convenience shop next door for essentials. A2b Restaurent, serving South Indian dishes and sweets, is about 1 km away. For the price, it was great value, and the rooms are larger than usual. The main thing to improve is breakfast variety. There are basic options, but it gets a little boring if you stay more than two days. They could raise the price if needed to offer more choices.

The all-you-can-eat buffet was good, and the hotel felt luxurious, clean, and professional. The rooms could have been a bit better, and one of the lifts was out of service.

The bathroom was spacious and fairly clean, with a hair dryer, and I had a comfortable hair wash for once. The room was large, though the furniture was a bit run down and the paint looked dirty. Amenities were basic. Each floor has an ironing station, and there’s parking with a bellboy to help. I booked two rooms, one for me and one for my daughters. There are two elevators. I don’t understand the high Google rating. There’s only one room without a window on each floor, and that wasn’t made clear on the booking site. I could have paid extra, but it was okay. The hotel is within walking distance of lalaport and berjaya time square. Pavillon is nearby too, around 750m away.

The staff made the seven days at Metro Hotel Bukit Bintang especially enjoyable. They were polite, professional, and always ready to help. Housekeeping kept the room neat every day, and the room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, with a good bed. The hotel is right in the heart of Bukit Bintang, close to malls, restaurants, and public transport. It was great value for the location. I’d recommend it for either business or leisure in Kuala Lumpur, and I’ll stay here again on my next visit.
