City View Hotel At Klia Klia2

The location is very good, but there’s a lot that needs improving. The room smelled of cigarettes even though we booked a non-smoking room. The toilet wasn’t properly clean, and no soap was provided. The WiFi also needs improvement.

The room listing on Agoda promised a street view, but mine faced a parking lot. At 43 SGD per night, this experience was outrageous. It’s rated 3 stars on Google and 2 on Agoda, though I’d give it just 1. Getting between the hotel’s two blocks is awkward. There’s no proper connection, so you have to take a steep, uncovered slope at the back, which would be miserable in the rain. The room itself was dark, with just a dim ceiling lamp. The brightest light was beside the bed, glaring straight across at eye level. The towel wasn’t clean, and the room reeked of cigarette smoke. The air conditioner kept making a loud tak-tak-tak sound. On top of all that, they asked for a 50 RM deposit.

I’ve stayed here twice with my family, and both visits were good. The room was clean, with unstained pillows and sheets, the shower worked well, and the air conditioner was okay. The receptionist was friendly too. There are some cracks in the wall, but they didn’t affect our sleep. I slept really well, and would definitely recommend it.

Handy for an early flight after a night’s stay. There’s a 7 eleven, McDonald's, and nasi kandar open 24h just a few steps away. Check-in and checkout were very quick, with an RM 50 deposit. Just take Grab to and from KLIA.
