Holiday Inn SEPANG - AIRPORT by IHG

I attended a team-building event at Holiday Inn Kota Warisan, Sepang, but didn't stay overnight. The security guard was polite, informative and helpful in directing us to the venue. The hotel was clean, organised and welcoming, and parking was easy to find. The food was nice and sedap, a definite highlight at the time. The service and facilities left a great impression, and it seems like a solid place for events, meetings and team-building.

The room was superb, with simple but elegant décor, and Holiday Inn has long been our preferred choice for getaways. I wanted to share a few problems from our recent stay at Holiday Inn Sepang. At breakfast, water dripped from the air conditioning unit and landed only a few centimeters from my plate. When I told the staff, they said nothing could be done, which wasn't a satisfactory response. The cafeteria service also fell short. A staff member at the front desk seemed distracted and kept asking for our room number, even though we'd already given it at check-in. Some of the menu items lacked flavour, and I think management should review the food quality. I hope this feedback helps improve future stays. By the way, I attached a photo of a beautiful sunrise from our glass door on the 16th floor.

The food was delicious, and the rooms were okay, though ours didn't smell good. Maybe I was just unlucky since other people seem to have had a better experience. Staff by the entrance were busy chatting and didn't open the door to greet me. The driver, who I think was named rafy, didn't help with luggage either. At breakfast there was no one available to attend to or guide us. Only two waiters were there, and they were too busy looking after the buffet.

This was my second visit, and I'd recommend spending extra for a room with Lounge Access, it's well worth it. The buffet breakfast is good value too, and the pool area is great for plane spotting. The hotel is a bit of a distance from the airport, as other reviews have mentioned, but there is a free shuttle. It's first come, first served.
