Paradian Hotel

The staff were honest and helpful: one of them let us know we'd left a bag by the door, and the receptionist said booking direct next time would be cheaper. The hotel also has a full set of amenities, which is a big plus. The location near the fire station was noisy at night, and without a shower curtain everything gets wet, although there's a bar to hold onto because the floor gets slippery. The room was generally clean, but the floor was so dirty we wiped our feet on the bath mat before bed. The bed was okay but very low, and the mattress still had its original plastic wrapper, so it crinkled like eggshells whenever we moved. We mentioned it to the receptionist, who kindly said they'd remove it and that nobody had complained before. Hard to rate, but it was okay overall.

The rooms and toilets were horrible, with dust and taik cicak everywhere. The sheets looked like they hadn't been changed in ages, and the place seemed never to have been maintained or cleaned. We checked rooms on every floor and they all looked the same. It was empty, no wonder nobody was staying there. I paid RM120 and refused to spend the night. They rejected my refund request, just as I expected. Don't stay here, you'll regret it.

The place is quiet, with plenty of parking, though I wish there were more grocery shops and restaurants nearby. The staff have been really helpful on all three of my visits, even though I’ve had to change rooms each time 😆. On my last stay the room was a bit dirty, but they cleaned it up afterward.

There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and parking is easy. The location is quiet and convenient, the staff are friendly, and the room was simple, clean, and comfortable. Good value for the money, so I’d stay again.
