Smart Hotel

Room 303 was mostly clean, and the bedsheet had no stains. The blanket, though, had lots of old marks, so I left it unused and was glad I'd brought my own. There were only two working light fixtures, by the entrance and dressing table, because the one over the bed didn't work. The room came with a kettle, two 500 ml water bottles, two 3-in-1 coffee packets, and two cups. The air conditioner was noisy and needed cleaning, with dust built up inside. In the bathroom, the hot water, bidet spray, and flushing toilet were fine and clean, but the basin tap didn't work properly. Some of the vinyl floor was damaged too. The cleaners had done their job, but the owner hadn't kept up with property maintenance.

The location was the one real plus, close to the main town and places to eat. The toilet was dirty, the bed had stains, and a persistent ringing buzz in my room affected my hearing during my short stay. I guess it's acceptable for a brief visit if you keep expectations in line with the price.

I had a pleasant stay on the evening of Oct 19, Diwali. It's conveniently within walking distance of PalmMall. The uncle was polite and friendly, and the Indian girls at reception were nice and smiled at guests. I'd stay here again.

The family room was spacious, and the air conditioning worked well and got cold. It's near places to eat, convenience stores, and Palm Mall. The bathroom and beds were clean, though the room showed clear wear, including peeling walls. Parking is the main drawback: public spaces are packed during the day with mall and shop visitors, and there isn't designated hotel parking. This place suits people who don't drive better.
