Hotel O Midah Inn Puchong

The pillow was very dirty, the bedsheet wasn’t clean, and there was no mat in the toilet. Laundry wasn’t arranged early either, so I only got a towel late at night and it badly disturbed my sleep. I had a booking and no way to find another hotel at that hour, so I had to stay. With no choice, I booked this hotel a second time. It was worse. I waited 30 minutes to check in and the receptionist still hadn’t shown up, so I eventually went to another hotel. With service like this, they’d be better off closing than running the business.

The room and toilet were dirty, and so was the pillow. The room was much smaller than the advertised picture and really tiny. Not worth the price. Wouldn’t recommend it.

There was nobody at the counter when I needed to check out, and I waited there for almost an hour and a half. When I called the morning staff member, he said he was busy taking his children to school and kept asking me to wait half an hour. The service and staff were really terrible. If you have urgent work, this hotel isn’t suitable.

We took two double rooms, arriving at about 1 am. The receptionist was at the counter, but told us check-in was through a vending machine. There were no instructions on it, so he needed to guide us. He did, but only from his seat. At that hour, with the machine not working properly, it was really annoying and took 15-20 minutes for a simple check-in. We asked for rooms next to each other, but he said the machine chose them automatically. We ended up on the same floor at opposite ends. Terrible. The room was in okay condition, but the air conditioning didn’t cool well. There was no soap, no mineral water, and the toilet light didn’t work. I can accept no mineral water, but no soap is too much. The amenities were poor, and there was no lift. We travel often and regularly use OYO hotels, motels, and inns, but this one didn’t meet the standard of the others. They need to improve the service and amenities if they want to keep going. This was my first and last visit. Such a terrible experience that I was too disappointed and tired to take photos. RM69.99 a night for a double room is quite pricey for this service.
