Kembara Resort is right on the beach and just a short walk from the jetty, or a quick Grab ride if you have luggage. I stayed one night before catching the jetty to Lang Tengah. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the stay was comfortable and satisfying. I’d gladly recommend it.

A comfortable room near a beach that was almost empty. The shower is a little small, so it may not suit larger people. Good place for a family, and booking direct gets you a cheaper price. No photos.

We took the full package for our family trip from 27/8 till 29/8, including snorkeling at pulau redang. The food, room, and staff were all very good, and we enjoyed our holiday.

Hi kembara resort team, thanks so much for the service and hospitality. The greenery and trees around the place brought back the kind of atmosphere I’d really missed, and it’s very close to merang jetty. I think even a ghost could spend its vacation here peacefully and safely 😂. Jokes aside, I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family planning a redang trip. We had two rooms, but only ours lost water in the toilet on the second evening. I told reception three times and nothing was done. They just said to wait for the tank to fill, which was odd since the other room had no problem. The grounds felt messy and more like a neglected private property than a resort. I wouldn't recommend staying here, and I'd rather save my money than come back.
