They were extremely slow to respond. The service staff need to fix the clock on their phone: my friend's family had arrived at the homestay and was ready to check in, but the booking details came an hour later than the actual check-in time. They were promised details by 2:30, but the text didn't arrive until 4pm, after they'd paid. What country's time were they using? Then my friend was told to contact ANOTHER PERSON just to get the keys, leaving the family waiting even longer after they'd already waited an hour for the check-in details. It wasted people's time and energy.

Getting help here was impossible for me. I couldn't find the homestay, and my WhatsApp messages got no reply while my calls were rejected every time I tried. There was no check-in counter or anyone waiting when I arrived. Worst homestay I've ever stayed in. Avoid it.

I liked having a washing machine and kitchen utensils, and the place itself was clean and well kept. Booking through Agoda meant customer service took a while to process things, but after that the replies were quick and the staff were very kind.

The location worked really well for i-City or events, with shops, restaurants, and attractions close enough to walk to. Parking was easy to find and felt secure. I spent 3 days and 2 nights at Sinar Rasa Homestay in i-Soho Block A Tower, and found the host friendly, helpful, and responsive. Check-in and checkout were straightforward, with clear instructions. Inside, the unit felt cozy and welcoming. It was clean, nicely decorated, and well maintained, with towels, toiletries, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a TV, and a small kitchenette. Good value for a short stay in Shah Alam, and I'd consider coming back.
