Ilman's Loft@Vista Alam HILLVIEW-PS4-500MBPS

The location is really strategic, and the owner answered all our questions well. It's comfortable and comes with an iron, pool, gym, and garden. I was only there briefly, so didn't get to use those facilities. We'll stay again. Maybe add a mirror in the mini loft, it would make getting ready easier for girls.

I gave it one star because the whole experience wasted my time and left me feeling cheated. I had to solve the booking problem myself, and then find money for another homestay while waiting for the refund. We're students and don't have jobs yet. I hope the owner improves, and I'm writing this so other customers don't go through the same thing. When I first looked into booking, I thought it was odd that there were hardly any Google reviews and only a few app reviews, but I gave the owner the benefit of the doubt. I wanted to book through Agoda, which seemed safer, and thought perhaps the homestay business was just new. I couldn't complete the Agoda booking because of a technical problem. I messaged the owner, who didn't help, and I eventually fixed it on my own. After noon, I was told the booking had been made, but it was still waiting for the owner's acceptance even though the money had already been deducted from my bank. Around 1 pm, the owner said he had noted it and asked me to wait while he checked and accepted. After 2 pm, he asked how many people were coming, even though Agoda had it set to six and the homestay's stated capacity was six adults plus one child. That seemed odd again. At 11 am the next day, the owner messaged to say I had to cancel because somebody else had already booked the date, although I had booked earlier. When I asked about the refund timeline, he said he needed a little time to call Agoda, then told me to contact Agoda myself if I wanted it faster. He couldn't say how many days it would take, just that it wouldn't be long, then that he wasn't sure and it might take a little while. I eventually called Agoda myself and learned the refund could take 15-30 days. I don't know whether the owner actually called Agoda. I also saw other customers' reviews saying the owner had asked for another deposit even after they had confirmed through Agoda.
