Menara U Shah Alam Guest House

Recently, a cable on the bar snapped and hit my head, leaving a painful swelling. It makes me seriously question the safety and reliability of the equipment. The gym is poorly maintained, and I can't tell whether the machines are being serviced properly. They often break down only a few months after repairs, which suggests the maintenance work is substandard. Management leaves much to be desired.

I've been a property agent for almost 5 years and have dealt with many management teams. At Menara u2, the manager was rude and impatient. I understand asking for a deposit before someone moves in, even for just a single bed. I was only trying to ask if they could move in first, before I went to get cash for the deposit. Getting cash meant a 10 minute walk, and a 500rm bank transfer refund could take 3 week to 4 week. If they couldn't allow it, they could have refused politely instead of saying most people won't come back. What kind of attitude is that? The front desk clerk was very nice, unlike the manager.

The rooms are cramped to the max. Maybe it's alright if you're a student, but check the place yourself before agreeing to anything. Management seems to have no system and doesn't know what it's doing, and security is very bad. If you have a motorcycle, park it outside, since lots of people have had their bikes chained without warning.

It's a good place overall, with plenty of easily accessible shops nearby. Most residents are students. The top 29th floor is closed because of strong winds, but otherwise it was good.
