Wyndham Garden i-City Shah Alam

Our Level 16 room had a lovely view of i-City at night, and choosing Wyndham Garden I-City for our anniversary worked out really well. The Friday buffet dinner came with the package and was quite good. Breakfast had lots of choices. The staff were attentive. When the water heater stopped working in the middle of the night, we called reception and a technician arrived within minutes. It was fixed in under 15 minutes. Credit to the maintenance and front office teams for acting so quickly. Remember to validate your Touch 'n Go card in the hotel lobby to get free parking. The hotel is set farther back in the area, which makes it quieter. With more promotions and service like this, I think it'll draw even more guests. Highly recommended.

I stayed one night and found the room comfortable, with enough room to pray. It had basic TV channels, and you can request an iron. Guests get free parking. The hotel is behind the shoplot buildings, reached by driving through the theme park entrance. The theme park is walkable, while Central i-City Mall is about 10-15 minutes away on foot. It was a good stay.

We booked two rooms directly with Wyndham i-City under a RM280.80 nett per room promotion, which included two breakfasts and two waterpark tickets. They kindly upgraded both to Deluxe Rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and close to the waterpark. Breakfast was a simple but tasty spread, and staff kept the food replenished. Central i-City Mall is also nearby. En Amir was especially helpful with our enquiries. He was professional and patient, and explained the package clearly and thoroughly. The stay was pleasant and well organized, with good value and commendable service. We'd recommend the hotel and would gladly return.

The service and hospitality were great overall. The complimentary breakfast needs work, though. During my two days in Ramadan, some things, including the boiled rice and fruit, weren't fresh. The food quality should be improved.
