Hotel O Good View Inn

The rooms and surroundings were clean and tidy, and the night noise was much better than on my previous visit since the KTV downstairs has stopped operating. The front desk and room service crew were friendly and helpful, and gave us great hospitality. I’d happily recommend it and will visit again. 😊

I slept terribly because the karaoke and lounge bar downstairs made so much noise at night, and guests can’t do anything about it. It was an awful stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to travelers or people working outstation. This was my first and last stay, and it deserved a negative rating.

The place is clean and good value, but the karaoke downstairs becomes a disco after midnight. The singing earlier in the night is still acceptable, but later the music gets extremely loud and the windows vibrate. I don’t understand how this is allowed. I strongly wouldn’t recommend staying here with family, especially with small kids. The surroundings can make you feel unsafe, and I don’t think children or elderly people would be comfortable in that environment.

The staff were friendly, and the rates are cheap. It’s also available through online hotel booking sites. But there were several frustrations. The room was small and had some marks on the walls, though that wasn’t a big deal. The room access card was broken, so we had to take extra time unlocking the door with a key. They didn’t replenish the coffee, tea, or sugar each day, so we had to ask for them at the service counter. There’s also a pub on the ground floor that plays loud music until past midnight almost every day. You can hear it clearly even from the top floor, so it’s a concern if you have trouble falling asleep.
