The staff were friendly, but I was charged RM20 for breaking the no smoking rule, and I'm still unhappy about it. I booked through agoda the night before and had clearly accepted the requirements for a smoking room. The listing said it offered both smoking and non-smoking rooms, so I don't understand why I was charged. It seems they took the extra RM20 directly out of my RM50 deposit. Sad but true.

There was no safety between my room and the next one. I could simply open the door and walk into the adjoining room. I was also charged RM20 for a makeup stain on the pillow, even though it could be cleaned in the laundry. While I was staying for one night, the hotel messaged me on WhatsApp asking me to cancel my booking.com reservation. I refused, and they cancelled it themselves. I don't know their valid reason, but I think they didn't want me to leave a bad review there.

The room had a rotten smell, so I sprayed perfume all around to make it go away. The one good thing was the location, opposite aeon manjung.

The receptionist wasn't friendly, and having to fetch and immediately return the iron and board and hair dryer at the counter wasn't convenient for me. There's no room service. The hotel itself seemed average, though at least there was a kettle in the room. The location was good, with AEON within walking distance and a mamak restaurant next door.
