We stayed in room 129 from 22 DEC to 31 DEC, and it was an awful experience. If anyone wants the full account, feel free to message me privately. The reception lady was rude every time we dealt with her. We only spoke to reception three or four times, never brought them problems or acted awkwardly, but each time she seemed bothered and treated us badly. I'm glad others haven't had the same experience, but ours was what it was. Please book somewhere else.

We were a family of five caught in a stressful blackout at home and urgently needed somewhere to shower and get ready. I'd booked a Family Suite through Agoda, but when we arrived, we were put in a Standard Room without warning or an apology. When I asked about the downgrade, the receptionist said the Family Suite costs “RM200++” and suggested we got a smaller room because we “paid too cheap.” That was shocking and unacceptable. Guests shouldn't be treated differently because of the price Agoda showed, which we couldn't control. Staff gave no proper explanation or empathy, and the whole booking was misleading. Very poor service and unprofessional handling. I hope management improves communication with booking platforms and its service standards so others don't face this.

I asked reception to confirm a room after seeing several listed as available on Agoda. The receptionist told me, “don’t book, there are no rooms available anyway.” Then why were rooms still showing online? When I suggested they update the Agoda listings, she stopped responding and ignored me. There was no explanation or effort to help, and the attitude made me feel like I was a bother just for being there. The lack of communication, respect, and customer service was shocking for a hotel. I strongly don't recommend this place. Go somewhere else.

I found a discounted promo rate and decided to stay. The fish market and ferry terminal are both close enough to walk to, and there are eateries and grocery shops nearby. The room was clean enough and the bed was okay, though the air conditioner was moldy and the toilet smelled. Towels and a small bar of soap were supplied, and there's a surau for prayers.
