Sunway Paradise Home Staycation PH2120 SELF CHECK IN OUT

We stayed at the homestay PH2100 for 3 days and 2 nights as a family of 5 adults. We've stayed in different homestays around the USJ area, and to us this house seems better suited to students with parents accompanying them at the nearby university. We were glad that our deposit was credited back the day after checkout. The unit faces the big pool, but it's very small, with no lounge or proper dining area. There is just one toilet and shower for three bedrooms, and the shower pressure is very low. It would suit 4 adults better than 5. Each bedroom does have a TV, TV box, study table, and chair. Before arrival, we got multiple WhatsApp messages asking us to complete forms, pay an RM300 deposit, and send a copy of my IC. The timeline for providing details kept changing: the first request on November 29 for our December 23 stay said 7 days, then 5 days, then 7 working days on 14 December. We were also given a 16-page guide with extensive rules, including taking out rubbish, sweeping, and mopping. The linens had strands of hair, old stains, and holes, and the linens and towels smelled musty. Fans and floors were dusty. Non-functional fans were left dirty, and the working fans in other rooms were dusty too. The hosts offered cleaning but didn't coordinate a suitable time. They said they could be flexible about scheduling cleaners without checking availability first, which was frustrating. Hosts or representatives should communicate better, simplify the procedures, and make sure the property is clean and maintained before guests arrive.
