Everyone welcomed our family so warmly and treated us with real kindness. We had a great stay in this traditional Malay wooden house, a good choice if you want an authentic “kampung” experience while exploring Sekinchan and Kuala Selangor. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

The host was helpful day and night, and even let us use the kitchen utensils for our BBQ. He also looked after our room booking, pointed us to nearby stalls for fresh seafood and breakfast, and gave us useful information about the surrounding area.

The good parts were the tea and water they provide, the spacious rooms, working water, electricity, and air conditioning, and the location right by the seaside. My stay was decent. Still, the price didn’t feel justified when there was no toilet paper, dead bugs on the floor, doors that wouldn’t lock or close properly, and so many mosquitoes. If bugs and mosquitoes don’t bother you, or you like staying in a kampung house near the shore, this could suit you. I wouldn’t recommend it to people who get bitten a lot or don’t like that kind of seaside kampung setting.

The old TV, basic toilet and bathroom without a heater, and lack of tables made the inn feel simple, though there were chairs, a refrigerator, kettle, coffee glasses, and extra mattresses and pillows. It has two rooms, each with air conditioning. A nice way to experience a 'rumah kampung', and the stay was pleasant, but I had a sleepless night.
