Green Village Pasir Salak Eco River Resort

A nice spot for a family outing, with swimming pools facing Perak River. The accommodation is fully air-conditioned and has two rooms, each with two beds, for RM 150. They provide an electric kettle, cups, and complimentary coffee and tea sachets. Bring food or buy it outside the resort.

I usually ask for an upstairs unit because the ground-floor ones can be a bit noisy, with wooden flooring that also forms the ceiling. The resort has traditional two-storey wooden buildings, raised on wooden pillars, with wooden stairs leading to the upper units. Each unit is divided into four two-bedroom apartments, with a sitting room and bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed and the other has twin beds, though both rooms are quite small.

The resort is lovely by itself, and it's a great, affordable place to get some rest. There aren't any marts for snacks or decent eateries within walking distance, though. The receptionist is cute too :p I might come back when kg gajah has another glut of durians.

It's very close to Sungai Perak and has a village feel, so it could work well for a big family gathering. Bring a fishing rod and you can make it a fishing trip too. Parking may be an issue during peak season.
