The room itself was good, neat and fine for a simple stay, and the location is about 15 minutes from Taiping town. Kuala sepetang isn't too far either. My neutral rating mostly comes down to poor communication. I wish I'd received a message through booking.com explaining that check-in was self-service, so I could have planned ahead instead of leaving my parents waiting. Also, I asked the woman about a fridge before buying things to avoid hassle, but she mistakenly thought I was staying at another homestay and told me there was a shared fridge. I then had to travel 10 minutes just to put my things away.

The location is quite isolated, but the room was nice, fairly new and clean. They provided a toothbrush, tea and coffee, biscuits, a hairdryer and a smart TV. I was satisfied overall. Remember to WhatsApp the owner, since check-in is self-service.

This is a commercial building converted into accommodation. Booking is online and check-in is self-service. It has facilities, except for a refrigerator.

There was no reception, and after checking in online I got no response from the operator. I cancelled my booking through Agoda.
