Sojourn Beds & Cafe - Hostel

Lin gave me such a warm welcome and made me feel at home. The hostel is clean, quiet, and friendly, with plenty of places around the building to relax. It's a brilliant place, and one of my favourites from my travels. I can only recommend it to everyone. Thank you!

It's a lovely, clean old Chinese house, decorated with care. There's a hot and cold water dispenser, plus coffee and tea available all day. The staff gave me useful tips about local activities and restaurants. A perfect base for seeing the lakes, Zoo, and other sights.

The beds are really comfortable, and the staff are lovely. Tricia was so sweet! This hostel feels homely and unique, even though it's in a former home. It's one of the cutest places I've stayed, and the location makes it easy to explore taiping and visit the beautiful park nearby. Love it.

I found the check-in instructions clear, and the kind host was very accommodating. I booked a bed in the mixed dorm for two nights at the last minute and was grateful to find a place. The cubicle had its own light, fan, plug, and a roomy cupboard for luggage. Bedding and toilets were clean, and the basic amenities were provided, including a towel, shower gel, hair dryer, and iron. This cute little place is within walking distance of the dataran Warisan and taiping lake gardens, with plenty of good places to eat nearby, including a hawker stall with lots of options. My stay went beyond expectations, and I'd come back if I visit taiping again. You can also buy a cute postcard from the cafe.
