ATS Cameron Hotel & Apartments

We stayed 3 days and 2 nights at ATS Cameron and were very satisfied. The house hotel was neat and clean, and the staff and manager were friendly and helpful. The cleaners did a good job and cleaned the room again the next day. The price was good and everything felt convenient. A few things could be improved: the bath towels didn’t absorb water well, and it would help to have extra tissue paper, a glass plate or microwave-safe plastic plate for heating food, and another rubbish bag. Still, I’d rate the hotel 10/10 overall.

The views from the balcony were beautiful early in the morning and after sunset. Restaurants, diners, and street food are an easy, pleasant walk away, and Cameron Fair in the hotel building has a very good local and western restaurant plus a superb convenience store. The Tanah Rata location works very well for a Cameron Highlands trip. Hotel amenities are good, and the lifts, walkways, and carpark are clean and well kept by building management. There’s double and triple layer security access for ATS hotel guests. ATS should check and repair the minor issue with the apartment door lock unit that I reported to reception when checking out.

Free basement parking is available, but it’s first come, first served. The location is near everything in tanah rata, including cafes, a food court, and shopping. The room is large, with a very comfy bed and a sofa with an extra pillow. It also has a microwave oven, a small fridge, and a fairly big wardrobe. There are a few local TV programme choices.

The sink in the toilet only has cold water, which can feel really cold early in the morning. The room itself was clean, and the cabinet had bowls, plates, and basic utensils. There were two pillows, plus small extras on the sofa. The hotel is right in the middle of Tanah Rata, with lots of restaurants within walking distance, and free parking in the basement car park.
