There isn't a restaurant or breakfast, and the room I booked had a stain on the wall whose source I could only guess at. The bed was clean but hard, while the floor was clean too. Humidity had rotted the step into the bathroom, which was very basic, as you'd expect for a budget hotel. On the plus side, it's centrally located and fairly cheap: 60 RM for a double room, with free wi-fi. Only rooms costing 80 RM have a private bathroom. There's no AC, though you usually wouldn't need it.

I stayed one night at the end of October 17. The welcome desk service was awful. The young Chinese man on staff wasn't friendly or smiling, just told me the price and went back to gaming on his phone. When I asked about it, he pointed at the price as if to say, take it or leave it. They also charged tourism tax to Malaysians. The TV in the room didn't work, it was just there as an accessory, and the bed was dirty. I don't want to stay at a hotel with service that bad and a high rate. I'd suggest the place behind it, name rose crest hotel hill. It looks clean and the staff seem friendlier. Totally S+*T....

This F***ing hotel is trying to act like a hero by collecting Tourist Tax RM10 from local people. I've already reported it to MOT. The room wasn't very tidy either, and it was leaking.
