It’s in the best spot in Tanah Rata city, with food easy to find nearby. Supervisor Phan was especially polite and gave excellent service. I’d recommend it completely.

The hot shower had strong water pressure and worked well, though I couldn’t turn it up to the maximum. I stayed in a twin room on Level 01. It was comfortable and quiet, smelled fine, and the toilet was clean without much odor. There was almost enough room to pray, and a sejadah was provided. The room also had a fan, TV, Astro, and hair dryer. The TV is a Smart TV for a budget hotel and was already connected to the Wi-Fi, which was great. Finding the hotel: it’s in Tanah Rata beside Kedai Emas Poh. Reception is on Level 01, up the stairs beside Orchid Haven Hotel, and it’s quite a climb. Booking through Agoda was confirmed quickly when I called. Check-in was fast, just give your name, and check-out was easy, just leave the key in the box. I’d seen plenty of bad Google reviews before booking, while the Agoda reviews seemed quite good. My stay was pleasant for this trip, and I hope this helps if you’re choosing a budget hotel in Cameron Highland.

I had to book somewhere nearby at the last minute, and this hotel felt like a health hazard. The sheets were dirty and clearly hadn’t been changed, and the mattress was disgusting. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were bedbugs. The tiny bathroom was full of ants, and there’s mold throughout the hotel. Friendly staff don’t make up for that. If you care about your health, don’t stay here. In many countries, a place like this would be shut down.

The room was cramped and musty, with mold, sheets that looked unchanged, and a tiny toilet. The only good part was the helpful staff, though you have to message them first. I won’t stay at this hotel again.
