Silverstar Apartments @ Greenhill Resort

Think carefully before booking Patrick home stay on Airbnb (block G -Gladiolus). We couldn't get a proper hot shower for two days. Although the listing promised a “centralized water heater” and “hot water,” the shared bathroom only had lukewarm water, and the wash basin had no hot water at all. The balcony door wouldn't close and stayed open around the clock. Noise kept us from sleeping well at night, and with our laptops, wallets, and passports inside, the open door was a serious security concern. When we raised these problems, the host didn't offer a solution. Instead, they brushed us off with “this is not a hotel” and sarcastically said the price we paid “only allows this level of service.” That was unprofessional and unacceptable. Hot water and doors that secure properly are basic facilities, not luxuries, and the listing clearly promised them.

The mountain views and cool breeze made the stay feel special, and the green surroundings were lovely. Greenhill Resort is quiet despite being close to town. Our apartment was roomy, clean, and had what we needed. The staff were helpful and check-in went smoothly. A cozy, affordable option for families, couples, or groups.

The price is very affordable, and the location is convenient. Catholic travelers may especially like it since the church is right beside the place. Non-Catholic and non-Christian guests can stay here too.

The scenery is beautiful and the area is peaceful, so it suits anyone after a short, quiet break in nature. There’s no elevator in the four-storey building, so a ground-floor room is more convenient. I first visited in 2019, before MCO, through Leisure Holidays. The bathroom was substantially upgraded after MCO, with new tiles, shower, and toilet bowl.
