There are no mosquito nets on the windows, so you have to choose between a humid room with bad air or fighting bugs all night. The bathroom window wouldn't even close properly. I also struggled to rest during the day because of constant noise from a nearby car wash, which was tough after morning hikes. I asked management for a room on the other side of the building, assuming it would be quieter. They refused unless I paid extra, even though around 80% of the rooms were unoccupied. They said other parts were noisy too, because of another car wash and a nearby market. That felt like an excuse rather than a real attempt to help. The staff seemed indifferent and almost eager for me to check out early instead of trying to make things more comfortable. With more flexibility and better service, this might have been a pleasant stay. Given the relatively high price, I had expected more from this hotel in Tanah Rata. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet, restful stay or fair, responsive treatment. It felt more focused on making money than providing hospitality.

The price was cheap, but the lift wasn't working and I was given a room on the 4th floor. I had to carry all my bags up the stairs 🤣🤣. It was non-refundable, so I had no choice but to make the climb. Worst ever in history.

We got a free upgrade to a Deluxe room with a balcony since it was low season, and the beds were more comfortable than I expected. The staff were friendly and the location is excellent. The bath towels could have been cleaner. It’s a budget hotel, so keep expectations modest. There’s no breakfast or other food and drink service.

Right in the centre of Tanah Rata, which makes getting around easy. The standard room is narrow and on the small side, but worked well enough for a short trip. It was clean and had a hot shower. There’s no air conditioning, mini fridge, or hair dryer, and although there’s a smart TV, the WiFi was too poor to use YouTube or Netflix. Parking is limited, and you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. A reasonable place for a short stay if you mainly need somewhere to sleep.
