The friendly staff made it easy to meet other travellers, and the hostel had a great social feel. My stay was very comfortable, with spotless bathrooms, clean beds, and excellent hot showers. I didn't encounter any bedbugs or mosquitoes, which made it even more pleasant. Easily one of the best hostels I've stayed at, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone after a clean, comfortable place to meet people.

The six-person women's dorm was lovely, and the other girls were friendly. We became friends and ate together in the evenings. The hostel is right in the middle of town, with Grab rides around the Cameron Highlands available at a low cost. Beds and bathrooms were clean, and staff were welcoming, helped with tours and food suggestions, and greeted us morning and night. They understood English perfectly well. Street noise could be heard in the rooms when shops opened in the morning and closed at night, but free earplugs were available at reception and it wasn't a major problem.

I stayed alone as a woman and want to share what I experienced in a fair way, in the hope that it helps future guests and the owner improve things. This may suit travellers who like a very casual, social backpacker atmosphere, but there were several areas that affected my confidence and comfort. The listing on Agoda described a four-person women's dorm, while the setup I saw seemed more like a dorm with around 16-18 beds. That's a big difference in expected privacy and sleeping conditions. Payment also wasn't handled through Agoda. Guests had to transfer money on arrival, which felt uncertain as a solo traveller, more like first come, first served than a secured booking. Security could be better. The lockers shown in the listing looked lockable, but during my stay they were only locked later at night. The room and main entrance were often left unlocked during the day and evening. Basic security matters even in budget backpacker accommodation, especially for women travelling alone. There were notices all over the common areas. I understand the management wants to keep things orderly and clean, but so many signs made it hard to tell which rules mattered most. One example was the induction cooker: notices said it was for staff only, yet guests regularly saw people cooking openly in the kitchen. What people see happening can send a stronger message than a sign. If the cooker is only for staff, having staff cook in a separate private area would make that clearer and avoid confusion. The music in the common area could also be more varied. With both local and international guests, a reasonable mix of English or international music instead of mainly Chinese songs might make the atmosphere more welcoming to people from different backgrounds. I hope this feedback helps improve communication, organisation, and guest confidence.

Getting around is easy from here: you can walk from the bus station, popular Jungle Trails are close enough to reach without a Grab, and there are plenty of restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and a laundry nearby. The staff are helpful with tour bookings and hiking advice, and I'd recommend the hostel to backpackers. Bunks and bathrooms are comfortable and practical, though it would have been nice to have shower gel or shampoo. I liked the open storage space at each bunk in addition to the locker. There are several common areas that work well for digital nomads.

We spent two nights in a family room, and it was a terrible experience. The listing advertised "Free Parking", but there was no free parking. We had to find an available roadside spot and pay for it. Our room was beside reception, where a group played poker loudly at 11.30pm. It also had hard mattresses, dust and dirt under the bed, and stained pillows and sheets. No towels were provided, and there was no elevator. The receptionist didn't greet or thank us. When we showed her that our booking said "Free Parking", she just said, "we will check" and never replied during our two-night stay. They later changed the Agoda advertisement to "Free Wifi, Parking", which was convenient. Don't be fooled by "family room", this place isn't suitable for families. For that price you could find somewhere better, even a whole apartment. Totally disgusted.
