The breakfast was a letdown too. For all four mornings it was basically the same limited buffet, just moved around, and even the tea wasn't hot. The restaurant staff didn't greet guests properly. We also found housekeeping lacking, with tables left dirty and empty cans still in the room. On our first rainy evening, we asked to borrow an umbrella and were told they were only available at the sister hotel next door because we were in the suites section. Staff there turned us away too, saying the umbrellas were for their guests. A security guard eventually helped us with a spare, and he was one of the few people who did help us during the stay. The room was unpleasant from the start: a used McDonald's bag from previous guests, hair, and a bad smell. We contacted our travel agent, who quickly arranged a room change. What was most upsetting was that hotel staff showed no concern or empathy and didn't apologize. The receptionist sounded rude throughout. I work in hospitality myself and know mistakes can happen, but this response was deeply disappointing. We also had to carry our roughly six pieces of luggage ourselves after staff said they didn't offer assistance. That was a poor welcome, especially on our honeymoon. Choosing Zenith Suites for the trip was a big mistake, and the experience ruined what should have been a special occasion. Service, cleanliness, hospitality and food all fell far short. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We liked the location and the pleasant 16-18°C weather, but those were honestly the only real advantages. We spent most of our time out, though that shouldn't be what makes a hotel stay feel acceptable. The suite concept doesn't make the price worthwhile. The buffet choices were very limited. We mostly eat fruit and salads, so that wasn't a big issue for us, but the hot milk was cold. When it ran out, staff talked among themselves and walked off without answering our request for more. The shower temperature had just two settings, hot and very hot, and felt close to scalding with no proper control. The hair dryer was a serious safety concern too, with a broken hood and a possible electrocution risk. Poor value and a disappointing stay.

Parking was easy, with plenty of space, and the hotel was simple to find. Our room was very spacious, the bed comfortable, and the balcony looked out over a flat landscape. Breakfast was satisfying and had a good selection. Check-in was smooth, and when we noticed a bad smell and black marks on the mattress, bedsheet and blanket, customer service sent housekeeping within minutes to sort it out. There were also a few maintenance issues, including cracks on part of the wall and spider webs around the balcony. Hopefully Zenith will take care of those details. It was a pleasant stay overall, with a few things to improve.

The location in Tanah Rata was easy to reach and convenient, with pleasant views of the surrounding highlands. The unit felt fresh and cozy, and the building seemed fairly new and well maintained. Check-in was easy, the host responded promptly, and the stay was hassle-free. The room was clean and modern, with comfortable bedding and useful basics like WiFi, TV and parking. There was some noise at times, especially early in the morning, and a few small details could be improved to make the unit feel more premium. Nothing major, but I noticed them. I'd still recommend it for a comfortable short trip in Cameron Highlands, and rate it four stars.

I appreciated how quick the Wi-Fi was and how easy check-in went. Parking was plentiful, which is a big help in such a busy area, and the location worked well for sightseeing. The rooms are very spacious, modern and clean, making for a comfortable place to unwind. A gem in Cameron Highlands, and highly recommended for families or anyone after an easy, high-quality stay.
