OYO 1140 Mk Paradise Hotel

The noise made it hard to get any peace at night, with footsteps, furniture being moved, doors slamming, and people talking in the early hours. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, though I took photos of the basin and hope I can share them publicly if there’s a place to do so. I booked through Agoda for three nights, from 24/4/25 to 27/4/25. The room was shockingly tiny, with nowhere to put my luggage, and there were water marks on the ceiling. I paid extra to move to a suite on level 1 so I could use one of the beds for my bags. The toilet basin was horrible, and the old ceilings had stains in several places. Shampoo and bath gel were provided without labels, so I had to buy my own from a nearby shop. The bedsheets were old and yellowish and need replacing. This isn’t a good choice if you want a peaceful night.

The location near banks and restaurants is handy, though the hotel sits away from the main road. At night the area feels a bit isolated, which made me wonder whether my car was safe. The room was clean and a little small, but just right for one person. Fine for a short stay.

We checked in for one night while attending a prenuptial celebration, and both rooms had the same problems. There was no ventilation, so a strong musty smell got into our clothes. I had to leave the door open to air it out, and we ended up washing everything, even clothes we hadn’t worn. Dust mites bothered us too, and neither of us slept well. I’m sharing this in the hope management looks into these issues before anyone else chooses the hotel.

The walls are pretty thin, so sound travels through easily. Keep that in mind. The price is affordable, the TV screen is quite big and has some Astro channels, and the air conditioning works really well. I’d highly recommend the hotel.
