The shower holder was broken, so I had to hold the shower head or leave it on the floor. There wasn’t a chair by the hair dryer, and its cord was so short I had to bend down awkwardly to use it. The kettle was disgusting, with yellowish stains inside when I tried to boil water for coffee. All of this made the stay very inconvenient and felt worse than a basic homestay. Very disappointing for the price. Definitely not recommended.

The room was small, but clean and comfortable for a one-night stay. It’s good value for money and well located, next to ISEC Hospital, with a hawker centre across the road. There’s good hawker food in the daytime and nice Chinese chu char cooking at night. Amenities include an electric kettle with tea and coffee sachets, hair dryer, comb, toothbrush set, fridge, flat screen TV, and Wi-Fi. They provide 2 in 1 body and hair shampoo but no hair conditioner. Soundproofing isn’t great, though it was okay for one night. The lift is small and the carpet is worn out.
