OYO 90395 D'yacob Guesthouse

We were five people in Room #237 for four days and three nights, and there was plenty of space for us. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities. We liked it a lot.

The hotel is well placed for nearby cafes and good food, and the stay was decent overall. But getting checked in took a while because we had to wait for the person in charge, which made the process feel uncertain. In the master bedroom, there was an unpleasant smell when we turned down the air-conditioning speed, and water seeped onto the floor in front of the toilet. The vinyl flooring and skirting were damaged too. The front door latch was broken, which felt insecure even with the digital lock.

We stayed two nights in a two-room accommodation and it exceeded our expectations. It was clean, with super amenities.

The apartment didn’t feel very safe, and I’d warn people to be careful with their money here. After checking out, I saw the Hotel had charged my credit card well above the booking amount plus taxes. Before we arrived, I tried several times to contact the Hotel and got no answer. When an emergency came up and I asked to change the booking, Magazine Vista Hotel only seemed interested in getting the money. This ”Hotel” left me with almost nothing good to say. It felt like a scam!!
