Citadines Tanjung Tokong Penang

We spent a brilliant two weeks here and would absolutely stay again if we visit Penang. The rooms are beautiful and large, the pool is fantastic, and hotel manager Serena was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. A couple of small things: hot water in our shower occasionally stopped working. We figured out there’s a switch by the light switch that turns it on and off, and labeling it might stop someone from switching it off accidentally, including the cleaner. Also, as someone who isn't the biggest fan of lifts, I would've liked an easy option to take the stairs.

The studio room with a kitchenette worked perfectly for a week, and the pool is wonderful. There are laundry machines in the pool area, and the gym is well equipped. Groceries and lots of restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel is lovely and serene, with friendly, helpful staff. You can hear street noise, but ear plugs helped.

If you want to stay out of the thick of it in Georgetown, this is a great place. The rooms are a little small but should be enough for the average person's needs. The pool is excellent, and the staff are all friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Lotus mall is nearby for groceries, with good food options across the road for nights when you don't want to go far. I loved our stay and highly recommend it!

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. Check-in went smoothly, though nobody explained the facilities. Parking uses a lift system, and the staff were helpful with it. They were friendly too, and even offered to take our photo in the lobby by the CNY decorations. Good value for a stay.
