The Landmark by Little Cabin

The gym on the fourth floor was sweltering because the aircon was on a timer and I couldn’t turn it on. If it can’t be switched on, they should put a fan in there. In A 30-6, there was only one plate and two big bowls. The stove was covered in grease, like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages, the remote had no back cover, and the TV wouldn’t power on. The landmark by little cabin is 100% not recommended. You’ll regret it. 😭😭😭😭

The house wasn’t cleaned properly, the towels were dirty, and the bed didn’t feel hygienic. I found far too many bed bugs and was bitten repeatedly. Now my arms are covered in red rashes, and I had to go to a clinic for medication. The stay was uncomfortable, and cleanliness and guest safety need immediate attention. Bed bugs can pose health risks if left untreated. If you have kids, don’t even consider this place. Never coming back.

At 75 m2, the studio has a great view of Gurney Drive’s high rises and green hills, though two buildings under construction partly block the ocean and can be noisy. It’s between Old George Town and Batu Ferringhi, about a 10-20 minute ride either way, under 15 RM by Grab. Shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and a convenience store downstairs are all close by. The building pool and gym are decent, though there are lots of crows by the pool, which is open 7am-9pm. Inside there’s a comfy bed, big sofa, dining table, washer and dryer, oven, microwave, huge fridge, two ACs, and WiFi. It was fairly clean, aside from some ants, and gets cleaned once a week. It was reasonably quiet except for upstairs neighbors at times and fireworks over CNY. Elevators can take a while. Reception is on the ground floor from 8 to 8. There’s a 200 RM deposit, and late checkout is possible for an extra charge. Long stays may be cheaper. Bring your own toiletries and an adapter for type G plugs.

There are only three elevators for 41 floors, and the waits are unbelievable. They stop at too many levels, too. I can’t imagine what it’d be like if one was out or there was an emergency. I really wouldn’t recommend these homestays or service apartments.
