The rest of the stay was superb, but Room 403 had such a strong cigarette smell. Turning on the air conditioner made it worse. I came down with the flu that night and had a fever the next day. I'm not sure whether smoking is allowed in that room. 😕

For a few days in this small town, the simple room was all I needed: a clean bed and toilet, working air-con, and no smoking. It was comfortable enough to rest for a day at this price. They offer corporate rates and single rooms, and the cleanliness has improved. Reception and housekeeping are helpful, including when regular customers have questions to arrange. Most importantly, it wasn't a ghost-hunt room 😂 I could sleep just fine. 🤪

There are plenty of places to eat just around the corner, and the ferry terminal is about a 500 m walk away. It's a good-value choice, especially for the cheapest rooms. Mine had a kettle and coffee, a separate shower cubicle, and a TV with a few English channels. A handy place to stay before or after travelling to or from Indonesia on the Nunuk ferry.

The location was good, but the hygiene was poor. The room looked clean at first, then I found two cockroaches crawling around and woke up with awful bedbug bites on my arms and legs. I stayed for just one night.

We booked a deluxe king through agoda, but it was fully booked when we arrived, so they moved us to a superior king at no extra cost. The room was really comfortable, with a nice bed, clear TV picture, and clean bathroom. The staff were very nice too. Nothing to complain about, I loved the hotel.
