The beach is close by, and our room, 139, had a sea view. The location is a real plus, but our 3D2N stay was disappointing and uncomfortable. We had no Wi-Fi, and the TV wouldn’t turn on. The room cleanliness also needs improvement, and the power plug should be upgraded. The bigger problem was the water. It went out four times during our stay, often around 7pm-10pm or early in the morning, with no notice. On the school holiday peak week, the electricity also suddenly went out at night, apparently because so many rooms were using it. The water system, tank, and pipes need upgrading to handle heavy use. Imagine being unable to shower before checkout because there was no water at all. My son suddenly needed to poopoo and there was no water to clean him, while other people also needed to use the toilet. Please improve these systems so the hotel can make the most of its strategic location.

The staff were polite and apologized, but that didn’t fix the problems, and I won’t stay at this resort on my next visit to PD. Please don’t rent out rooms that fall below basic standards, especially when guests have complained before. I stayed two nights in Room 103 and another room. Room 103 had no minibar, weak water pressure, and a water heater that didn’t work because of the pressure. The flexible hose leaked, the mosquito net was torn, and there were ants and lots of mosquitoes. The bathroom tiles were slippery and risky for elderly guests, and the streaky bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly for a while. The wallpaper was torn and the room was in poor condition. If haunted houses are your thing, maybe you’ll like it. The Air Conditioning remote didn’t work, and TV channels weren’t available because of an antenna problem. Very disappointing.

As soon as I walked into Green Town Hotel Port Dickson, there was a really bad smell. The linen looked dirty and wasn’t well maintained, and the staff were unprofessional and unhelpful, which made the stay even more frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are much better options in the area.

There’s a real heaven of food nearby, so just bring your card. It’s a cosy 3 star hotel, though it’s farther from the nuzzling beaches.

No stars from me. The whole place was filthy, including the pool and toilets. Really wouldn’t recommend it.
