Ecolux Mozambique Hotel

The best thing about this place is being close to the beach, less than a 7-minute walk away. The rest of the experience was rough. We had to fetch our own seats, and the food took four hours to arrive even though we ordered in advance. It came out at different times, so we had to speak to the manager to get the rest served. Two plates were mixed up, and when we asked, we were told one was coming out of the freezer. The food was okay at best. The waiter tried to explain things kindly, but the manager was unfriendly and the service was poor.

We came for a day visit and lunch. The pool is amazing, and there's a small playground. The food took a little while, but it was delicious. The service from Boa vida was excellent, and the owners were friendly.

What a lovely surprise. I stayed here on holiday three years ago and was disappointed by some bad reviews from the previous seven months. I'm very happy to say everything met five-star standards. My 84-year-old mother came along and had the wheelchair-friendly room. They treated Granny like gold. The pool, security, rooms, food, and front-of-house service were all fabulous. It really shows what a change in management can do. I’ll be back to Ecolux Macaneta ❤️

Very bad. My family and I had to bring over our own chairs when we arrived. We waited more than four hours for food and had to argue with the staff just to get something to eat. The steaks were badly cooked, and the meal nearly never came at all. The service doesn't deserve restaurant status. The quality was nowhere near worth the high prices. This deserves zero stars.
