Everything is within walking distance, and the location feels secure and clean. The guest house is flexible and understanding, with clean rooms and simple accommodation that still makes you feel at home. The staff are great, and the manager is amazing: smart, attentive, and one of the best problem-solvers I’ve met. I believe this is an excellent guest house and the best place in town. Good luck!

I spent more than three months at Stay Inn Guest House in Maputo, and it was a wonderful stay. The guest house was clean and secure, the staff were professional and warmly hospitable, and they made the language barrier fun. Internet, running water, electricity, breakfast, and the manager’s overall care were all beyond what I could have imagined. There are several restaurants and shopping options nearby, and the guest house is close to the heart of Maputo. The domestic staff showed great integrity. On several occasions I accidentally left valuables unattended, and everything was still there. If I get the chance to visit again, I’ll choose Stay Inn without hesitation and would readily recommend it to anyone coming to Maputo. Thanks to the management.

We felt right at home. The management and staff were very helpful, especially Safeer, who was so understanding about the bank wire complications. He was sweet and friendly, helped us order taxis and stay safe, and gave us recommendations on places to visit and the best seasons to go. We can’t thank him enough.

A great option for short or long stays in Maputo. I stayed INN, and if you like Maputo, you’ll love staying in Stay Inn. It’s off famous Kenneth Kaunda, on Kim il Sung Avenue, so you can’t miss it. Joey.
